GENERAL

Ensuring your order arrives safely and in the condition you expect is our top priority. For raw comics we use Gemini mailers to ship 1-9 comics. 10 or more comics will be double boxed for maximum protection.

Yes, all raw comics come with a free bag and board.

Raw Comics - For newly released comics, we guarantee a condition of 9.4 (NM) or higher. Comics will often come directly from the distributor with minor defects, including but not limited to spine ticks, stress marks, or tiny edge & corner wear. For this reason we can’t guarantee a 9.6-9.8 grade for raw comics. For back issues, the condition will be stated in the product listing.

 Graded Comics – All graded comics are guaranteed authentic and come with a certified grade from the grading company. We guarantee that your graded comic will be in collectible condition. Having your graded comic arrive with cracks or large scratches/scuffs would be unacceptable to us. However, graded comics are cased in plastic and unfortunately, the plastic case that is used by the grading company is not perfect and very minor defects on the case are typical.  Therefore, we can’t guarantee that your graded comic will be 100% free of defects related to the case. Make no mistake, we will not ship your graded comics with any defects
that would compromise their collectability. For defects on the case that are considered more than minor and for anything that would compromise their collectability, those defects will be disclosed in the product listing.

 For other collectibles such as action figures, statues, and collectibles, we guarantee no specific grade. These products are shipped in the condition they were received from the manufacturer/distributor. While we guarantee there will be no defects on the product itself, the display box may have limited creases/dents from the shipping process, and we do not consider these to be defects. Action Figures and Statues may or may not ship in the original cardboard box our vendors shipped them in, but will have all original product packaging. All statues are opened to inspect for damages before
shipping.

All in-stock products will ship within 3 business days. For pre-order items, the ship date will be stated in the listing. Ship dates for pre-order items are subject to change by manufacturers/distributors. You will be notified if there are any changes or delays associated with ship dates.

We use USPS and UPS.

Publishers have a disclaimer in place that all artwork is subject to change prior to release. Slight changes to the artwork such as to the placement of the title or changes in color are typical.

Due to the collectability of the comics and merchandise we sell, we are unable to accept returns. Please make sure you are committed to your order prior to checking out. An exception might be made for some sealed items provided the item has not been opened and the item is returned within 15 days of receipt. For these cases, a refund will be considered in the form of store credit in the amount of the purchase price minus the shipping fees. Return shipping is buyer’s responsibility and the product must be in the same condition as when it was shipped. Our goal is to make sure you are happy with your order, so if you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please let us know and we will attempt to make it right.

We strive to have every order arrive at their destination safely. Unfortunately, sometimes things happen that are out of our control. If your order has arrived damaged, please contact us within 15 days of receipt to request a return and be eligible for a full refund.

MANAGE COMICS/SUBSCRIPTIONS FAQ

IMPORTANT:
When opening an account please include your physical address and mobile phone contact details.  We may call you to communicate any changes or other important information regarding your subscriptions.

We will get notified that a customer has added a subscription/pre-order and either approve or deny that
subscription/pre-order.  You will receive notification via email once this has been completed. For reasons why your subscription/pre-order might be denied see below.
You can then go to My Subscriptions to view the status of your subscriptions. This is also where you can raise the quantity if you would like to order more than one copy.

Manage Comics allows you to subscribe to cover A, cover B, or both. However, other cover variants are available for pre-order only.  For example, if you wanted to receive cover C every month, then this cover would have to be purchased as a pre-order every month.

Most are approved without issue. However, we may deny it if we know that we cannot fulfill the order for any reason. It may also get denied if we discover there was a mistake in the listing such as with the price or product description. In these cases, we will contact you to inform you of the correct information and you can decide whether or not you would still like to proceed before we approve your order.

By default, Manage Comics will display the price for the Cover A issue. Some variant covers such as incentive ratios or foils do have higher pricing. Unfortunately, Manage Comics currently doesn’t give us the option to change the price that is displayed.  If you do happen to add a book that has a higher price than the standard A cover, we will contact you and inform you of the price difference and you can let us
know if you would like to keep the order or cancel it. 

When your books arrive from the distributor, you will receive an email with an invoice to make a payment. Invoices will be sent weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, based on the shipping preference you have set.
Important:
Payment is expected within 7 days of receipt of the emailed invoice. 

Use the My Subscriptions tab in our menu to manage your subscriptions, view orders, and select shipping preferences.

The Final Order Cutoff is the deadline by which retailers must finalize their orders with their distributors. This deadline typically falls around three weeks before the release date of the comic book. After this deadline, retailers cannot adjust their orders, and the publisher uses the orders to determine how many copies to print. When you see an FOC date attached to one of our listings, this is the date in which all orders must be placed for that product. We do our best to make sure products are not available for purchase after the FOC date but in the rare case that one slips by us, please understand that we may have to cancel this order if we can’t fulfill it

When you subscribe to a series, the first issue that you will receive is the first issue that we are able to order for you. This may not be the issue you were looking at when you hit the subscribe button. For example, you subscribed to a Hulk series while looking at Hulk #3 but didn’t realize that the FOC date had already passed. In this case the first issue you would receive would be Hulk #4. If a book says that it is no longer available for pre-order but you can still subscribe to the series, you will be receiving the following issue. Feel free to contact us anytime if you would like to confirm the first issue you will receive.

PRE-ORDERS FAQ

Pre-Orders are items that you can purchase before the item ships from the publisher and/or manufacturer. This often helps guarantee the availability of an item as it is specifically ordered for you. You can tell if an item is a pre-order item by the orange 'pre-order' button rather than the regular 'add to cart' button. Expected release dates are available on each product page, and are subject to change by the publisher or manufacturer.

The main difference is how you are billed. The pre-orders on our homepage and in our pre-order collection can be purchased like any other item on our website. Simply add to cart and checkout the way you normally would. These products are listed at 20% below cover price. We offer this discount to our customers for pre-ordering their comics with us and making payment at the time the order is placed.


The same comics can be found in the Manage Comics portal. When pre-ordered this way, you will be invoiced and payment is collected when your comics are actually released. Please note that only customers that subscribe to 5 or more series will receive a 20% discount when using the Manage Comics portal.


These flexible payment options allow you to choose what works best for you and your collecting needs.

All books ship the week that they are released. If you placed an order that consisted of multiple pre-orders, you order will ship once all the books have been received. This will allow you to save money on shipping fees.
